This tract has a new Zimmatic irrigation system in 2005. It is in the heart of an active cash rent area, surrounded with multiple tenants able to pay market rents. It has a lot of good Missouri River bottom soils and is all levee protected! This farm is located in NW Missouri off Hwy 275 in Atchison County. There is a Grain Storage system on the farm which holds 12,000 bushel. The Irrigation system has a quarter section Zimmatic center pivot that covers 144 acres, more or less. A 90 ft 18inch cased well lifts water approsimately 20 feet using a 50 hp electric motor. Pump capacity if rated at 1000 gpm. Calcium Sulfate PRO CAL 40 in the amount of 2-4000 LBS per acre was applied in Spring of 2004. Benefits of this application should last no less than 6-8 years.
