About 10 miles southwest of Bandera, the ranch fronts on the east side of Bandera Creek Road (the county extension of RR 1077). Access is via paved roads to the entry gate and then on the ranch headquarters.
San Antonio International Airport is 59 miles to the east-southeast - a little over an hour drive. Kerrville and Boerne are equidistant from the ranch - about 35 miles. Both cities offer a wide variety of entertainment options, grocery shopping, and medical care.
Terrain:
A gently sloping, open grass field forms the front quarter of the ranch with a seasonal small pond located near the northeast corner. The remainder of the property is a mixture of limestone hills with medium density cedar brush and savannah meadows bordered by mature oak trees.
Several deeper soiled meadows are found to the south of the headquarters. In this area of the property there are motts of mature oaks, heritage-sized cedar trees, hackberry, and cedar elm that surround native mixed-grass fields.
