Just seven miles SW of Jacksonville, off the Palestine highway, this mostly wooded tract has lots of young and maturing pine on it. The views are awesome and the homesite would have those views. There is a well at the original homesite. There is a lot of maturing pine, as well as young pine. The land is rolling, so there are many areas where one gets great views. The soil is essentially iron ore which provides a stable base and retains moisture better than sand. Nice, rural setting.
