The Valley that extends from the south end of Owasco Lake and several miles to the south is notorious for having rich valley soils and tons of big game. The Owasco inlet offers fishing for brown and rainbow trout that swim up the inlet to spawn in spring. There are several fishing holes located on the property which can also hold brook trout. This stretch of the inlet is only a few miles south of the lake and offers a great spot to duck hunt in the fall. When I walked the property I spotted two areas that had mallards along the inlet. There are a couple of areas that are shallow water with rocky bottoms that make it easy to cross the inlet by foot or on ATV. After crossing the inlet there is a single trail that leads up to several trails that criss-cross all sides of the property. This is a very diverse property that offers some dense bottom land forests with upland hardwoods with areas of oak and maple. The dense bottom land forests offer good cover for whitetail deer and a bedding area near water. There is a small hidden shale bottom stream that runs down the hillside that has a small waterfall. The remnants of the old Lehigh Valley Railroad are still present on the property which offers an elevated spot for hunting and stalking.
All the oil, gas and mineral rights convey and there is no gas lease. There is a NYS fishing easement that runs bank to bank along this stretch of the Owasco inlet.
