Hawaiian Sunshine Nursery (HSN) is a wholesale potted plant nursery that grows a wide variety of plant material for export and for local Hawaiian markets, landscapers, landscape contractors, florists, hotels, supermarkets, mass market and the interior-scaper market. HSN sells to clients on all of the Hawaiian Islands, Guam and across the US mainland.
Production facilities consist of (1) ten acre parcel in Hilo, and (2) adjacent parcels totaling approximately another 10 acres in Waimanalo on Oahu. All three parcels are leased from the State of Hawaii.

One of the shade houses was constructed in 2011 and has all new benches and irrigation installed. In addition, there is over 6000 sq. ft. of bench space for outside production. There is also substantial area of ground production. The existing lease rent is $1500 per year or 1.5% of the gross, whichever is greater.
Both the Hilo and Waimanalo facilities have forklifts, tractors, trailers, sprayers and trucks. There is an integrated computer system, which is networked between locations that tracks sales and availability.
The major product lines and exclusive products for HSN include: Bromeliads - HSN is the largest bromeliad nursery in the state; Hawaiian Volcano Plants (TM) - A specialty line sold in Hawaiian airports and ports, garden centers & hotels; Landscape Ferns; Anthuriums - this has been an area of investment and growth for the last 2 years; Foliage and Flowering Plants; and Edible Plants - including potted blueberries and herb varieties.
HSN's main facility is located on Oahu. The nursery is at 41-436 Hihimanu Street in Waimanalo. It has a lease that expires in 2019. This existing lease is eligible to be considered for conversion to a brand new DOA lease with an initial term of 35 years and extendable to 55 years.
$2,750,000 price includes the turnkey well-established business, plant inventory, machinery, equipment, structures and leasehold sites on Oahu and the Big Island. Seller training possible.
