The Rockwell family settled and began farming a portion of this farm in 1874. The Whitman County Farm Service Agency estimates the crop acres of the three separate land tracts as: 373.4 acres, 476 acres, and 1413.6 acres. The land is farmed on a 2 year rotation. Approximately 1000 acres are harvested each year. The Winona Farm (Sale Tract 4) includes 241 acres of CRP. The 2010 winter wheat crop yielded 76/ bu/ac, the 10 year average is 66 bushels per acre.
