Originally these two ranches were irrigated crop farms. Current owner chose to run cattle therefore Buffalo grass seed was sowed and Mother Nature ran it's course. Now there are four pivot fields covered in Sunflowers, Buffle grass with scattered brush and good forage. One pasture has big mesquite. The east ranch consist of 80% cattle country and 20% native mesquite brush. This is good cattle and wildlife country. In good conditions no supplemental feeding is required.
Low fences, large neighbors and no commercial hunting have allowed wildlife to flourish. Great South Texas whitetail and the bird hunting is incredible.
Good access from paved county road FM 582.
A GREAT COMBINATION CATTLE AND WILDLIFE RANCH.
