The abundant native wildlife on the ranch consists of: whitetail deer, turkey, dove, and quail, with incredible winter duck hunting along the Pinto Creek. There has been 50 bucks and 100 does from superior genetics released on the ranch. For the well being and supplemental feeding of the wildlife on the ranch, there are 10 Ranch King blinds, 12 protein feeders and 12 corn feeders.
Water: Pinto Creek Ranch has excellent water resources. The Pinto Creek is spring fed and passes through the ranch for several miles creating a stable source of water. Portions of the creek have limestone rock bottoms and deep water holes providing excellent fishing and duck habitat. There is one concrete dam on the creek generating a perfect swimming hole. There is 135 acre feet of transferable water rights to pump out of Pinto Creek good for irrigation, as well as, a 1,187 deep artesian well with 8 casing that free flows an average of 850 gallons per minute year round.
