The farm/ranch is only 6 miles west of Burns Oregon on Hwy 20. It is a very desirable area where the property borders thousands of acres of BLM ground and the irrigated hay fields are nestled up to rim rock hillsides covered by sagebrush. The hay field attracts an abundance of wildlife such as mule deer, antelope and an occasional Rocky Mountain elk. Other hunting opportunities include quail, duck, geese and sage rats.
This area is also known for producing some of the best hay in the county. The wells in the area have been very reliable. This ranch last produced approximately 2400 tons of hay and they are rotating out approximately 120 acres this coming year.
