Ranch is 30 minutes east of the Gage Hotel (Marathon, TX) on Highway 90 at the Brewster/Pecos County line; and 22 miles west of Sanderson. It is 12 miles east of the Housetop Mountains, which are visible from the ranch.
WIldlife on the ranch include mule deer, elk, turkey, whitetail, javelina, lion, and bobcat. The Texas Parks and Wildlife just enacted the rules for the 2013-2014 hunting season; and the mule deer MLD season will start on the first Saturday in November 2013 and end on the last Sunday of January 2014. The Ranch is on Texas Parks & Wildlife MLD Program.
The ranch has a nice renovated 3 bed 3 bath cinder block home with bunk-room, metal roof, metal barn, new screened in porch, rock patio. Electricity comes from a recently installed solar system.

There are two functional water wells. One was drilled and completed in April; and is solar powered; and has a submersible pump. The other operating well has a windmill. (A third well with windmill is no longer functional.)
The ranch is well fenced and is about 25% bottom land and 75% mountain. The hunting is fantastic and the views from the mountain tops on the back of the ranch seem to go on forever.
