Location. 28 mi E of Sonora and 10 mi N of I-10, on Barker Rd. in Sutton County.

Terrain. Rugged countryside with rolling hills and nice views. There are a lot of liveoak tress, some large ones, plus cedar and mesquite. Native grasses are plentiful, including sideoats grama, Texas wintergrass, curly mesquite, and buffalo grass.
