Located just north of Montevideo and in the famed Lac Qui Parle area this property will be a hands down producer. It was as good as I’ve seen with pushing up in the neighborhood of close to 30 birds and that was with all the crops still standing around the property and I guess it shouldn’t surprise me with the quality of upland nesting restored prairie, the winter cover that they have and then the mature woody cover shelterbelts in the main 4 areas that are simply awesome. I can’t even imagine what this property will be like in the late season which if one wants a food plot, you can and the seller stated that he will work with whoever buys the property to plant it for them. Deer? There are trails and sign all over and I kicked up a number of them. Great seclusion and bedding cover to hold deer all year and in the late season when the crops go down, the property will only hold more and more deer. If you look at the aerial photo, you will see a basic square wooded area that isn’t a part of the property. The seller owns this old farmstead as well and it is not in the RIM easement and would be willing to work out a deal and sell this as well to anyone interested in some more woods or a great place to build a cabin or just pull and leave a trailer on. Again and in short, some of the best habitat set up for holding a variety of species and it will not disappoint so give me a call and we can discuss the property further!
