The 178 acre Summit Springs Farm is one of Greenbrier County's finest farms. It's gentle rolling pastures and nicely laying woodlands are some of the finest available on today's market. This must see farm is just 5 minutes off I-64 and only 15 minutes to Historic Lewisburg and 30 minutes to the world famous Greenbrier Resort. The Greenbrier Valley Airport is a 20 minute drive and Amtrak can be boarded in White Sulphur Springs or Alderson, both nearby.
Over the years, the Summit Springs Farm has received tender loving care, and it certainly shows. The farm roads have been rocked with limestone or capped with red shale to make the property highly accessible in every season. Lot's of trails have been built throughout the woodland, just right for horseback riding, hiking or four-wheelin'. The boundaries are completely under fence which makes it a dandy place to raise cattle or horses.

The property offers striking 360 degree views of the Williamsburg Valley, Brushy Ridge and several more surrounding mountains ranges. Tater Run flows into an underground cave purported to have a room the size of a football field just beyond the entrance. Lot's of deer and turkey can be found, along with raccoons, fox squirrels, grey squirrels, opossums, red foxes, chipmunks, groundhogs, red-tailed hawks, ruffed grouse and maybe an owl or two.
Around the cave area and Tater Run, you can find crawfish, turtles, salamanders and lots of butterflies (they like the cool of the shade). An unbelievable amount of songbirds love to sing in the early mornings and late evenings. The giant Pileated woodpecker along with his smaller cousins, the red headed and downy woodpecker can be seen (and heard!) pecking for their breakfasts.
There are 5 nice ponds that three pair of Canada Geese along with their 8 goslings visit daily for a cool swim. Also, a mother wood duck and her 8 little chicks spend their time on the big pond and like having their picture taken.
