Comments: This is a very productive farm with plenty of water. 2008 average corn yield under the Valley pivot was 198 bu/acre. In 2006, this farm had the second highest yielding test plot for Panhandle COOP at 239 bu/acre. The pivot can be supplied from either well or surface water. Typically the first one or two irrigations of the season are provided from the well, after the Pathfinder water comes in, the irrigation water is pumped from the supply canal to the pivot.
