Jesse Stuart Tract will be sold by lump sum sealed bid on Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at 3:00pm. Tract is located four miles southeast of Murfreesboro near the Crater of Diamonds State Park. Terrain is flat to gently rolling. Access is good with limited frontage on Highway 301. Additional access is via Boto School Road and woods roads within the tract. Timber consists of fifty-five acres of a 1997 pine plantation, thirty-two acres of a 2000 pine plantation, and fifty-two acres of native timber. Soils consist of sandy loams with site index for loblolly pine averaging 85 feet on fifty year base.
