Here is a lovely Virginia country house that began in the late 18th century as Hall and Parlor plan. In the early 19th century another structure was brought to the site and added to the original structure. Simultaneously, with further additions, the structure became the Greek Revival elevation that exists today. There is much to admire in heart pine floors, stenciled doors, lovely old mantles and slate roof. The 14 acres are primarily forest with pasture easily restored in one area.
