Wildlife: This property is not far from the Purtis Creek State Park which helps hold good numbers of wildlife in the area. Deer hunting has been very good in the main field towards to center of the property per the owner, and the trails in the woods offer many setups for bow stands. Along with the deer you have wild hogs, bobcats, coyotes, dove and ducks. The duck marsh has been very productive in the past holding ducks and a few geese from time to time. You can expect good numbers of mallards, wood ducks, teal, and occasionally pintail. Fishing is also very good in the two larger bodies of water with mostly bass and catfish. The creek also offers a good fishing hole or two.

Vegetation: The property is approximately 70% wooded. The wooded areas are pretty dense with a majority of hard woods such as oak and hickory with a mixture of cedars and other shrubbery. The open areas near the front of the property has a mixture of costal and bahiagrass. The two open areas towards the center of the property are in native grasses.
