This area is known for excellent deer numbers and producing Whitetails of epic proportions. With approx 500' of elevation change in the area the hills are big however not super steep like some areas further South. The ridges here are full bumps and benches giving unlimited flat spots for the deer to travel and bed. Given the nature of the big ridges with unlimited area to for deer to hide out there are excellent numbers of old bucks. when you get a little age on the deer in this area they are going to big.

There are good logging trails throughout most of the property. The property consits of huge valley with several very seclueded ridge points dropping into it. There is a decent size creek running North to South through the middle of the property. So there should be a secluded water source for most of the year. From the road the property goes downhill crosses the main creek and back up the other side. Most of the property was heavily select cut between 2-4 years ago. The regeneration is coming into full swing and the property is getting very thick. Some areas of the property that were more difficult to access were not timbered nearly as heavily and there are areas where very nice trees still remain. When it comes to thick cover, browse and bedding area this property certainly has it. There are numerous small clearings and trails that would make excellent smaller food/hunting plots. There would be several good locations for a cabin, home or camping relativly close to the road with good access to utilities and not too far into your hunting.

County Water And Electric run along The Road. There is a also a 22 acre tract for sale by another owner that ties into this property on the East side coming off of Wallace road. With the addition of the 22 acres it would give you a second access point from the East side and square up the property nicely. Cannot beat the price tag on this big chunck of whtitail paradise.
