Megargel is located approximately 2 hours northwest of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, and approximately 50 minutes southwest of Wichita Falls, Texas. Wichita Falls is home to Midwestern State University, United Regional Hospital, and also Sheppard Air Force Base.
