Location and Access:
Tract is located in southwestern Rapides Parish near the community of Plainview. It is approximately 1.25 miles north of Plainview High school and 3.25 miles south of the LA Hwy 113 and LA Hwy 112 intersection. LA Hwy 112 is the eastern boundary of the property. Interior access is by foot or by using an existing four-wheeler trail.
Topography and Soils:
The topography is relatively flat. Beautiful Cherrywinche Creek runs through the northern portion of the property. The northern part of the tract along Cherrywinche Creek is made up of Guyton soils which have very high hardwood timber production potential. The southern portion of the tract is comprised of Beauregard silt loams which are suitable for building or timber production.
