Area: This property is located in the mountain and lake area of North Idaho approximately 40 miles from British Columbia, Canada. It is about I mile from Idaho's crown jewel, Priest Lake, which is 70 miles northeast of Spokane, Washington. The lake is quite large, approximately 30 miles long, is over 400 feet deep and is surrounded by mountains. This drinking water clear lake was left by the glaciers and is continually replenished by a number of mountain streams. The world record Mackinaw Trout was caught in Priest Lake. The overflow from Priest Lake forms the Priest River that flows out of the south end of the lake and eventually joins the mighty Columbia River. Priest Lake is both a summer and winter playground with numerous tourist attractions in both seasons. The area has some 400 miles of mountain trails for hiking, mountain biking and back packing plus several waterfalls as well as 200 miles of cross-country skiing trails. Fly fishing for trout is available on the various streams as well as the Priest River. Lake fishing and water sports are easily accessible on Priest Lake.
