This farm has 15 irrigation wells, two tail water pits with lake pumps, one T&L sprinkler covering 393 acres, two T&L sprinklers covering 161 acres each and one T&L sprinkler covering 120 acres (all sprinklers have long drops spaced on 80 centers). A fourth sprinkler covering 161 acres will be added this spring. Newly installed high pressure (50#) plastic lines connect all wells and sprinklers and are shown on the attached map (red = 8, green = 6). The installation of 3-phase electric lines to enable the conversion of all wells to electric motors should be completed by the end of the year. The owner is waiting on permits to drill 3 or 4 additional wells. There is a 60X120 Star built metal frame barn and one set of pipe-rail corrals with approximately 450 of concrete feed bunks with pens 100X600 at the headquarters on the east side of the property and one set with 280 of concrete feed bunks with pens 140X280 on the west side of the proprety. 51.5 acres are enrolled in CRP through 9/30/13 for $42.00 per acre per year.
