Standing Rock Ranch is comprised of 1384.39 acres of the most pristine Whitetail and Turkey habitat in the State of Oklahoma. The ranch is located near Atoka, in the Southeastern part of the state...less than 2 hours North of Dallas/Fort Worth. The Clear Boggy River runs just west of the property, which is well known for large river bottom bucks. The diversified landscape consists of blackjack timber, sumac briars, rolling post oak covered hills, persimmon thickets, water oak and pecan creek bottoms. There is an established road system throughout the property.
The property has an abundance of water. There is the 30 acres water shed lake, a 4 acre lake and 6 small ponds. All lakes have been professionally stocked with large mouth bass, bream, hybrid crappie and catfish.

The ranch has been involved in the Deer Management Assistance Program through the State of Oklahoma Wildlife Department and the Noble Foundation in an effort to improve wildlife habitat. The ranch has been under strict management practices for a decade and has been game fenced to ensure the bucks reach their full growth potential.
There are 6 miles of high fence completely surrounding the property. There is an exceptional deer herd with a 2-1 doe/buck ratio. Cougar Ridge Whitetail breeding bucks are plus or minus 200". There are 3 high fenced deer breeding pens.
The ranch is capable of handling 100+ AUs...along with all of the wildlife. In addition to the high fenced perimeter, the property is fenced and cross fenced for cattle grazing and wildlife maximization. There are 2 cattle working areas for holding and branding. A wood fence surrounds the barn, the horse barn (2 stall clay roof) and home place.
There are fish feeders on the larger lakes.
The large 60' x 80' metal barn includes a 3 bedroom, 2 bath bunkhouse with a full kitchen. The furniture does not stay with the property, but could be purchased under private treaty.
There are wild quail....a limited amount. However, the owners have created habitat to help the native and reintroduced quail population.
Every year various sections of the ranch have been control burned. The ranch has undergone cedar tree management, to reduce the total number of cedars, while keeping a few to provide a thermal barrier for wildlife during harsh conditions. Summer and winter food plots are planted.
In addition to the high quality deer herd, there is an abundance of hogs, squirrels, coons and other ground animals.
Standing Rock Ranch is home to a thriving population of Wild Turkey. There are both Eastern and Rio Grande Wild Turkey. The ranch has numerous lush creek bottoms that meander through the property and supply ample roosting trees. The flock size is estimated at 200-250 birds.
There is a 5,000 sq. ft. $75,000 foundation. A builders error in the building caused the house to burn. The 44,000 gallon salt pool, the outdoor fireplace and the concrete fence and entry gate remain. The owner has the plans for the Spanish home that used to be on the foundation.
The foreman's house was built in 2007. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath.
The body weight and quality of the Whitetails and Turkey are documented annually.
This is truly the most beautiful ranch in Oklahoma.
