These various habitats support: trees such as post, live and blackjack oak, black hickory, Texas persimmon, mesquite, elm, sycamore, pecan, and hackberry; diverse brush species including agarita, white brush, white buckeye and prickly pear; plus, a diverse variety of grasses and forbs supporting abundant wildlife populations in concert with grazing for cattle.

Located about 10 Miles East of Cherokee on the North side of 501 in SE San Saba County. In addition, the ranch is approx. 11 miles from San Saba, approx. 24 miles to Lampasas, 75 miles to Austin, and 145 miles to DFW.

Wildlife: Wolfcamp Ranch has abundant wildlife with plenty of white-tailed deer, varmints, and turkey. Dove hunting is also good around the cultivated areas. The deer hunting has not been heavily hunted or leased out; only family to hunt the property. In addition, the owner has managed for quality.

This ranch is very well watered with one main electrical water wells that feed the ranch. Water from the well is distributed to the drinkers throughout the property. There is a wet weather creek named Bee Cave Creek that runs through a canyon in the northwest portion of the ranch. In addition, there is three surface tanks with one being spring fed.
