The cabin sits on approximately 1/2 an acre of land with over 180 of frontage on Anthony Creek. The well-done cabin is 20' by 20' with an 8' by 10' storage room that gives approximately 480 square feet of living and storage space. A spacious partially screened in back porch overlooks the babbling waters of Anthony Creek.
The kitchen has a Mullins Youngstown Kitchens cast iron double sink unit with plenty of space for preparing food and washing. The Frigidaire refrigerator and Holiday four-burner stove are only a few years old and may be purchased with the cabin.
A Frigidaire window unit provides heating and air conditioning. The unit is oversized for the cabin and has a remote control.
A Vogelzang Boxwood Stove keeps the cabin extra toasty during the cool times of the year and is great for making hot chocolate or heating up a pot of vegetable stew.
The cabin is fully insulated and has a metal roof that produces a wonderful sounds during those summer rainfalls. An additional heating unit has been placed under the cabin to keep the plumbing from freezing during those extra cold times.
The bathroom has been redone with new cabinets, sink, commode and even a new window. Always have plenty of hot water with the Whirlpool 40 gallon hot water heater.
The 8' by 10' storage room is fully insulated and has hook ups for a washing machine and dryer, which may also be purchased with the cabin. In addition, the cabin has a large closet with hanging room for clothes and shelving on the inside plus shelving on the outside.
A well-built 8' by 12' out-building with attached carport was recently constructed. This building is currently used for storage, has electricity and could make a nice bunk house.
The property has been landscaped and even includes growing young peach and pear trees. Please see the documents section for an extensive list of improvements made by the current owner.
This property on Anthony Creek is in an excellent location and has many potential uses. The property is in move-in condition and may be enjoyed in its current state or you may choose to expand the cabin with an addition. The outbuilding could easily be finished out as a bunkhouse for housing guests. Plenty of room is available to build a larger home on the property as well. Due to the close proximity of White Sulphur Springs, the Greenbrier and a multitude of outdoor recreational activities, a small business is a possibility too.
