The location on the Big Island is ideal, mid-point between the two major metropolitan areas of Kona and Hilo or in sightseeing terms, halfway between the most beautiful beaches in the world in Kohala, and the rain forest and waterfalls on the eastern side of the island. This location gives Discovery Harbour the seclusion and privacy of the countryside with the convenience of urban amenities not so far away. And, it is located just 30 miles from Volcanoes National Park where you can see a volcano thats been active for almost 30 years.
The current annual association dues are $100.00, subject to change. Discovery Harbour features paved county maintained roads, county water, electric and telephone service, cable tv, a community and volunteer fire department. For more information on Discovery Harbour go to discoveryharbour.net.
